Krupp-Park
New and fourth-largest park in Essen with Krupp Lake and vantage point
Landscape architecture in the heart of the city: Krupp Park is designed as a public park and today acts as a "green link" between the Essen district of Altendorf, the ThyssenKrupp district and the city centre with the Green Centre Essen, the university district. Krupp Park was 20 hectares in size after completion and designed by the landscape architect, Andreas Kipar, together with the residents of the neighbouring districts. It offers a lot of space for recreation and recuperation. The ThyssenKrupp district and Krupp Park form one unit.
